The gift that is life
Sometimes cuts you like a knife
I see the pain in your eyes
Now it's time we cut all ties.
The love that we feel
The pain that we deal
Is on a soul-deep level
So by now you must think that I'm the devil.
I wish I could be the woman that you need
But I no longer have a viable case to plead.
I cannot continue to hurt an amazing man such as yourself
So I'm letting you go.
Please understand that I love you.
You've helped me in so many ways.
Because of you I have hope and faith and love.
Always love.
Just thought you ought to know.
