You're Always Here (Even In the Darkness)

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Thursday, 6th August 2015 @ 01:35:57 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Well here I am Lord once again
Knowing I'll get through this, just don't know when
Things'll become light and easy again

I have faith and hope for it all
But I always find myself up against the wall
These fears and worries pushing me back
Making me think there's so much I lack

But you told me your grace is sufficient
You told me you never would leave me
You hold me in the palm of your hand

So I'll drop these burdens and give them to you
Replace them with promises and hope anew
For you're always here even in the darkness
To light up my heart and fill it with righteousness

Faith is the one thing we have when the dark presses in on us. I like your poem a lot.

"What a difference
you make in my life
What a difference
you overcome my strife
and how I love you
cause of all you have done for me"

Quote from "What a difference"
By Archie Brown

"There shall be miracles
when you believe
though hope is frail
its hard to kill"

Quote from "The Prince of Egypt"
"When You Believe"
Performed by Whitney Houston and Myriah Carey
