When hope fades from my life I see you smile at me And hope comes back to me And once again Im free For from another side I see the world clearly Because the songs you give to me
Maybe you cannot sing But you impart your words Burdens are lightened with Your views of this great world I take your thoughts with me To ponder as I write And they do change my plight To see that I am blessed
(Chorus)
Thank you for words to sire Words that leave no regret For at the end of the day When Im in my bed They lighten up my head They make me still think Theres some good that I can do When I hear your words of faith and truth
And maybe someday Ill grow from this cynical mind Putting hurts within the past And casting doubts from my mind
(Chorus)
Thank you for words to sire Words that leave no regret For at the end of the day When Im in my bed They lighten up my head They make me still think Theres some good that I can do When I hear your words of faith and truth
There are others who have also had great conversations with me, this is dedicated to you as well.

And maybe someday
I’ll grow from this cynical mind
Putting hurts within the past
And casting doubts from my mind
and me as well. Things always seem to seep their way into my mind when I'm having a bad day. I generally turn around quickly but still a fault of mine.
Thank you for posting.
