in the pen
patterns new in every sentence
under the weight of words
to shed my skin unjudged
curled into this page abandoned
illusions it's all the same
I give it three stars.

We are our own worst critics, I am certain.
You are correct: the ink can't stay- in the pen.
Not when the act of shedding becomes such an exquisite and intricate display such as this.
Great write. Thanks for sharing.
