I heard him talking
and there you were walking
the things you say
are what I need today
You tell me your always near
and thats just what I need to hear
The advice youve given
had to be words from heaven
I know what you are
you came from a far
Your my heavenly angle sent
To see me through where I went
I know it has to be true
because I heard him speak through you

I thank him and pray with all my might
you'll stay another day and night
To pick me up and pull me through
He knows I always need you
For I do not fear
you'll always be here
Inside my heart you'll stay
no matter just how far away
Our lives travel on and on
But you'll be here till your job is done
With how great you are
your job is done by far
But he knows I need you
Because I heard him speak through you

I may become nervous
but your there at my service
I am allowed to be afraid
Because your there to be my aid
No matter how sad or mad
You'll be there to make me glad
It's in your touch and voice
To be my gaurdian wasn't choice
I thank him still
and my life you'll always fill
Your my lasting friend
We'll be connected till the end
I know this must be true
because I heard him speak through you

Your words were sent from him
They all come deep within
The tips of wisdom
from above they come
No one else around this place
Has this luxury or grace
Your presence inlightens me
Anyone around can see
They see me and you
and say "It must be true"
They all can tell what you were sent to do
The deed of seeing me on through
All I can say is "I know its true"
Because I heard him speak through you

People come and part
but always near in heart
I know it happens to all
and sometimes I'll still fall
but I will be brave
till I reach my grave
When I reach the gates of gold
Your hand I'll be sure to hold
As we walk the stairway to heaven
My destination after judgement was given
The temptations I shall fight
and climb with you and all my might
I know this all is true
Because I hear him speaking through and through
