A Ming Thing

Contributed by Invierno on Saturday, 19th September 2015 @ 07:36:54 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

My box discovered

uncovered

wanting,

collapsed of faulty structure
found stale

in view of a larger lens.

Bending now, not uncomfortably so----

I owe contortions (welcomed)
to an Arsenal and Grand stroller-

maybe Pestalozzi if I'm lucky for the memories.

Now, free of pentameter
I forgot to forget
I toss adjectives like rings at a county fair

allowing myself the luxury of saying
f off to normality.

With a blood clot- a grenade, pin pulled
to end my moment

I embrace this new found forgotten joy.

Hey Invierno, this is really, quite well written,
and a great tribute to Ming... I also love his simplicity and
the welcoming embrace of his stuff

Pestalozzi - great comparison. We learn with the heart the hands and the mind!

This reads so well, love the style!

Peace!

There is a sharp edged freedom in knowing our time is numbered.
You share 'his new found forgotten joy" with those who by virtue of a ticking bomb, see life "In view of a larger lens".
For the first time, you can live for your own sake.
