Lying awake
Alone in my head
Can't help but recall
Everything thats been said
See, I've written some poems about this girl
Who captured my heart in every way
I wrote them because I could see through her
However I really messed up along the way
I don't know where I'm going
I don't know what to do
Every ounce of energy left
Has me sill flocking over towards you
You've left me with no options
It's something I have to except
But how can I turn away from love
It's truly a treasure to be kept
It's like I'm looking at a treasure map
And "X" marks the spot
The end of the journey is obtainable
If I can just follow the million black dots
I used to hate the word "Journey"
As for my life it didn't apply
In fact every time I thought of it
I would cry, wishing I would die
That's not the case with you
I see us as butterflies
Going where ever the wind blows
Your Journey is taking me so high
I know now why I live life
And continue to chase the dream
I know why I gave up all my strife
It's because we were a team
