What would I like more
Than to sing the night away
In front of a crowd?
What would I like more
Than conduct an orchestra
Or to be in one?
What would I like more
Than to play a Romeo
or an Antony?
What would I like more
than to create dreams, and to
form them into words?
What would I like more
Than to stand behind a stove
With all the seasons?
What would I like more
Than to pick up a brush
And paint all of the seasons?
What would I like more
Than make art of silk and threads
For people to wear
What would I like more
Than to make beings of stone
Beings from my hands?
What would I like more
Than to map the world, and to
See the earth's beauty?
What would I like more
Than to plants orchards and fields
Of fruit and flowers?
What would I like more
Than people listen to my
Poems and speeches?
What would I like more
Than people, teach me these arts?
I'd like nothing more.
