Is it all too late?
She is never satisfied and picks on everything you do
so much so that she spreads viscous rumors too.
No love and emotion emits from her being
when she is with you happy never does she seem
Places barriers and distances herself from you
so that all can see that she no longer tolerates you
while she looks at other men signaling them
that she is looking for another to replace you
Yet she emits a jealous look when other women approach you?
Is she guarding her rights to the assets
or trying to gain some legal leverage
searching if you seek comfort from other women's cleavage.
When she talks to others she is very kind
yet with you she is harsh, for you she just doesn't have the time.
Her attitude has changed in the years that have passed
her behavior has changed in ways most vast.
She was always loose and interdependent
disloyalty appeared around her neck like a pendant
Her reputation she did not well guard
and for yours she had disregard
When caught out she would counter attack with fury
and question your perception as though she was the jury.
Then legal aid she would seek and ask
how she would benefit from her task.
You forgive her time and time over
while she plots as she pretends it is not over
and looks at how she can make some gain
it is such a futile and tiring game.
You suspect she may already have had another
however, to check it out you are just too tired to bother.
There is no feeling when you try to be her mate,
no love is left, as you have to ask
Is it all too late?
