You put me in a box Removed me from display You're saving me For another day When you get bored You'll find me Once again in your hoard I'll be your new toy Until another new boy Comes your way Then it's back again To the place where I was once hidden away

Short, sweet(?), & to the point. I likes it! I know the back burner feeling way too well. Or, I suppose it could also be called something like, the back-up generator, the second car, etc.
Thanks,

Great title! And yes, we have all been the understudy to the flavor of the month.
(How odd it is that we can love people we don't even like!)
This is quick, smart, and I doubt that anyone can not identify! One way or another we have all been "in a box" at someone else's hand.
Reminds me of a fable with a lesson to be learned.
Happliy, you have left the lesson to your readers!
Well done! softerware |
