Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden of Eden because they angered the Lord. Jehovah blocked the entrance of the Garden of Eden with Angels and a flaming sword. When it came to trusting somebody, they chose the wrong one to trust. They chose to trust Satan so they eventually died and returned to dust. After being exiled, neither they or their offspring could return. That teaches people a valuable lesson that we must learn. We must trust and obey Jehovah instead of Satan or we will not receive our reward. If we put our faith in God, our paradise won't be blocked by Angels or a flaming sword.

Nice , from a religious perspective. Based on limited understanding and knowledge.
Adam had a first wife called Lilith. (Book of Enoch) not in the bible. Lilith left Eden, she was known as the mother of demons (screech owl) ISIS? Egyptian goddess or deity half woman half owl.
Satan is still in control of this world.
Why would he have offered Jesus the the seven kingdoms of the world if he joined him? The book of Job and other references. However, God controls Satan and holds the reins. Jesus came to Earth to save our souls. The Gospel according to Thomas. Jesus states it is a wonder that this great wealth (Soul) found its home in this great poverty (Our Body or the temple)
Just my perspective from my readings, conversations with the clergy, and understanding. |

The bible stories all a haunted thing
these beliefs/ given up on all these things...
still left craving all this magnificent
emptiness/ apocalypse, hurricanes,
coming wars/ all that is profound
all that was once innocence in this
cold Earth like a gathering to keep
ourselves warm enough to think
Where in hell can you go
and keep just one safe memory in your mind
that will never leave
Is that what you see
Peace!

sorry Randy, I was just thinking on a Saturday
with the flu
about all the things scandalous
The soul is what one means by profound
yet sometimes it doesn't know exactly what
it should say
I like your poem.
Peace! |
