Prisoner

Contributed by The_Phantom on Monday, 4th January 2016 @ 06:20:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

All the love that history knows is said to be in every rose,
Yet all the love that can be found in two, is less then what I feel for you,

If time could stand still, I would freeze it here so I may, forever hold you close and near,
Holding your hand, touching your face, just you and I in this peaceful place,

The fantasy that is you, became the reality I live, when you said I do,
Together with you, eternity is a mere step away, our love grows with each passing day,

My love, like a prisoner , only to you has it surrendered,
When we are apart, I wish only sleep, cause I know you are waiting in my dreams,

When I fall you are always there for me, you are my everything,
There is," a dime a dozen," and, " one in a million," but neither can explain this feeling,

A love so unique, two lives have become complete,
Our love, like fine wine, will only get better with time,

Upon my death my love will not die, but remain with you until we are together again,
For every time you close your eyes, my touch will embrace you like gentle wind,

What I feel, I can not say, fore when I speak, the words get in the way,
Beyond this world and well into the next, my love for you could never be properly expressed.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom
