You're my summer thunderstorm
Powerful and strong, deep and dangerous
Crashing right into my life
When you're least expected
And more welcome than anything
You're my winter snowfall
Cold and magical, fresh and sparkling
Making my world over
Until I see it with the joy of a child
And the innocence of an angel
You're my fall maple tree
Tall and sturdy, crisp and simple
Changing before my eyes
Into something comfortably new
And reassuringly familiar
You're my spring blossom
Bright and promising, beautiful and exciting
Forcing me to have hope
In a better tomorrow than I had today
And in you and in me and in us
