Getting over you
Can this be true
have my feelings for you gone away
Did I look at you and say its a new day
Did I find someone new to hold my heart
Where I knew it wouldent be torn apart
Did i laugh instaed of cry
Or not feel like i was gunna die
Did i stop thinking about you
And find something else to do
Did I hold my head up high
Because I thought I dident need this guy
Did I stop all my tears
Finally after all these years
Did my day go my way
Because i dident listen to what you had to say
Today did I smile
Because it wasent his number i dialed
No, I could not do all this
Because you always love the ones you miss

Yeah.. it really gets confusing doesn't it? You find yourself doing things that aren't in your best interests.. but can't stop. You hope the person will react in a compassionate way.. but they might not.. and when they don't.. you sink a bit further.
Eventually you kick the habit.. and you realize you have changed too.. you may not feel it's for the better.. but at least you change. .. and it's all a journey . |

Its very chaotic. You think it is for the best... but once it has happened and you have tried to get over him... it does feel so right. But at least you have changed and have tried to back away.
