Topic: Lifepoems

Spiralling earthbound trapped in a
perpetual flatspin
A seemingly endless vortex of misfortune
for which there is no reprieve
Upon gazing skyward to the cloud that
mirrors every move
The absence of the promised lining is
painfully evident
All new avenues taken ultimately lead to
the same destination
and only disproves the conception that in
due time all shall rectify itself
With all the cards stacked to the
dealing house
Should you stay until the final hand takes
what dignity remains
Or concede and walk away from the game in
its entirety
