Lord, don/'/t leave me behind, I/'/m just a lonely, broken lamb. For rough and broken my road has been, And I/'/ve detoured time to time.
Father, don/'/t forget me When you call your children home. For the world at first is exciting, It soon turns lonely and dull.
Savior, please forgive me, I know my sins are the nails. So unappreciative I/'/ve been Of everything I/'/ve been given.
Jesus, I beg you, carry me, From my travels and trials I/'/m weary. I haven/'/t the requisite strength To make it on my own.
God, from my fears and enemies, please protect me, Draw my soul nigh unto you. My hand, please hold, to better with you stay. These thing I not just ask of you, I pray.
Amen
