shards of truth

Contributed by ming on Tuesday, 23rd February 2016 @ 03:08:16 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

memory distorts
jangled at the dissonance
into something endless
graying the past into murky
I am Rome burning and
tiny letters crammed and
running sideways up the edges
cauterizing wounds before they
happen love is breakable
all love is even a four-word text
even a sorry-faced emoticon
every atom whirls and clinches
the dark negotiations of un-hold
my heartbeat.

Your poetry takes my breath away ... Your style and thought process are completely your own, and that dear poet is a rare gift indeed.
I also always enjoy the quotes you so carefully choose for your author comment. Keep up the incredible work!

What can I say, Ming? Praising you is becoming redundant, so let this comment serve as the highest praise I can muster.

Distortion, graying, running, whirling, clinching the dark and as the poet is poised with quill, an announcement, a perfect presence for you are Rome!! Burning your thoughts eternally onto the page.
