Jesus was born on Christmas day
To save us all from going astray
He was born to live and then die
That part makes me want to cry
God sent his son, his only son
To come look to see what we have done
No one who came to this child yet knew
All the wonderful miracles he would do
We all need to stop and reflect awhile
To celebrate Jesus, this tiny innocent little child
This Child was One like no other would ever be
He came with a mission to redeem and set souls free;
Let us remember that he is the true reason
Not for just now, but for every season
Yes he was born in a manger
To save mankind from all this danger
He would heal the sick and give hope to the poor
He would give all He had to His people and more
He was sent down to help us and show us the way
So we may be part of Gods Kingdom someday
