With every tear shed We seek ten saplings/'/ stead Joyous moments bathed In our history so crazed
Within our closed eyes Lie the dreams that cannot die Tasting future/'/s fantasy Imagery machinery
Water wheels then turn We then purge away our burns We create time and space Produce them, behind a friendly face

My favorite line is "within our closed eyes lie the dreams that cannot die." The artist is a machine of imagery, creating time and space, behind a friendly face! You have captured the essence of art, be it poetry, music, sculpture, or painting! Defining the artist through the need to make the world as his heart sees it.
Breathtaking. And without boundaries of time; this will be as true a century from now as the day it was lovingly penned. |

Great poem.
The first stanza quickly captured my attention and the rest kept it. Somehow all of this works very well but it/'/s like all the stanzas tell separate stories while flowing together perfectly. Very unique! |
