He sat and contemplated all his memories in life, What has and has not been brought to light. Remembering many joys littered with suffering and strife. Pondering long and gaining much insight, He would carry on for the joys were worth the fight.
Contemplating the future, a wife, a child, He'll teach his children, life never to shun, He sits basking in the warmth of the sun, Determination reminds his life is joyous and fun. Never he decides, will he ever run.
Hurtful memories of past days, he'll leave behind, Knowing with patience, in time he'll find, Contentment happiness, joy, simple life sublime. His future now clearly and completely defined, To live life with joy and love combined.
