Closer to the other side, I sit and wait,
nearing the edge I await to dissipate.
Closer to the other side, I long to be,
brother and sister by my side, they there with me.
Closer to the other side, I carry my weight,
stranger to the light, I here without my mate.
Closer to the other side, I sit and wait,
fearing not this ledge, I eagerly evaporate.
