I
got this feeling
lurking
in the deepest recesses of my mind...
I should be doing something
besides
just waiting for the end of time.
I
am needing to remember
the reasons
why I should care at all,
I know there is a reason for why I exist
but what it is
I just can not recall.
Sometimes I get so mixed up inside
I wish I could find a place to hide....
I have been thinking
that I am gonna try one more time
to sort through the Illusions and confusions
in this void
that we call life,
although I may never recover
the original essence
of how it feels
to be strong and in control,
oh well
I have to try
to right what is wrong.

A mirror to my feelings of late.....I wrote a poem (a little up the page from this one) called /'/Oh, Heart of Mine/'/. I hope you read it. It is very similar to this...we have both arrived at a place and surveyed and conveyed the same essence, but in different styles.
