Flavors of Wealth

Contributed by Invierno on Wednesday, 18th May 2016 @ 12:37:59 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I have yet to meet a rich man
of an essence good, not bad,
though I know some folks
of different wealth;
for them my heart is glad.

There are times when Caesar showers,
and on me, a time or two,
but looking back, when in that wet
they were the saddest times I knew.

Hey, buddy, as my old grannie once said: /'/You come into this world with nothing, and you leave it the same way. Try for happiness, son./'/

Your words here were told to me long ago, and for most of my life I feared success. I didnt want to become one of those horrible rich folks.
Bad advice can make failures out of us.
To those who have wronged us all in the past I raise my glass --our success is so beyond your reach!

I feel your heart opening as you search for your inner truth. Love this process, and your words.

Very nice Mike...................... Very!

Wealth is not always about greed. I seek occupation which sometimes yields wealth but I/'/m looking to occupy my mind and the security money brings allows me to sleep at night and keeps the doctors away.

Dear Mike

I know what you/'/re talking about here. I know a man very wealthy but the saddest man I know he is 70 odd years old. Divorced, his son past away when he was 10 his daughter at 23 on the night they were to make peace. My heart bleads when I think of him. I love this man dearly but his pain blinds him, his money can/'/t help him. I pray for him and trust God will save him. Beautiful piece you wrote here. Gob less my brother

Greetings
Gert
