The soft brush of time with feathered kiss stroked my heart, and how!, felt as fire in my youth, yet now, in thanks to me, beings, life/'/s splatter. oh, it matters not, really, (for the tragedy) if that soft touch of time/'/s brush brings no response from a heart mossed, thus requiring a wrecking ball to get a teardrop out of real life.

How ironic that when we can/'/t open a glass heart with a feather, we strike with a hammer.
And you leave us standing with shards of broken hopes all around us, and guilty is the hammer in our limp hand.
