oops

I oft time wonder
what may shock me again.
It seems not much
but the sun still shines.
Then the thunder comes
and during the storm
heart and soul collide
searching for the answers
that never really come.
At times it feels half baked
but ya have to smile
it is a Merry Go Round
or a roller coaster
hang on with me for the wild ride.
It is the way it is now
that seems ok I suppose
I found out more than I needed to know
between here and there
but really it was all shade.

i/'/ve always found it ironic how the sun continues to shine no matter
what happens in our lives...along with those pesky happy birds- i
love this poem, so beautifully penned, such truth, my favorite is:
//and during the storm
heart and soul collide//

I like the way writing always comes to boil at the closing...I guess because most of it can all fit in my world..Lane

The wind always comes after the rain to dry it all up and make it fade away. I guess the shade lessens it too.
