i am a haunted house...
in every room a phantom lurks
i enjoy the looming atmosphere
i set off internal fireworks
i am a haunted house...
i close my shutters every night
i put myself then fast asleep
to dream my dreams until daylight
nightmares, they may come and go
nightmares, they are dear to me
this haunted house up on the hill
a haunted house, forever be...

Scenes of Psycho come to mind when I picture this little haunted house. A chilly little tale of isolation
from the mainstream. A word to the wise, you remind us that even inanimate objects have history, memory, and soul. May you have sweet dreams, and may your shutters keep the hauntings at bay.
