Today I am happy
a few days ago I was not
I have come to a realization
to everything I have got
Having been blessed
but sometimes its just hard to tell
Those are the days were not happy
when our worlds are broken for a spell
Life feels so lonely
when we have such a day
Then we feel so much anger
and treat everyone in a very bad way
Sometimes we just need to stop
and take a good look around
We need to count our blessings we have
in this world in which we are bound
Our world could be crashing around us
but we should not despair
Theres always a light at the end of the tunnel
family and friends are waiting for us there
So today I am very happy
many blessings I do have in this life
The good Lord blessed me
with three wonderful children and a beautiful wife
So count your blessings
and find happiness inside each of you
Your world will be a much better place
and for everyone else too
