Noise that's out of Key

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Inspiration: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mV6FMXClArU
(Which I clearly followed the basic formula of, but made it unique to myself)

I/'/m the choking of a dry throat
Words caught in ululated throws
I/'/m the weight in the torso
Dragging the world /'/til it moves so slow
I/'/m the light in the darkness
Strange hue in closed eyes/'/ abyss
I/'/m the chilling in the dermis
Enshrouding layered from head to toe
I/'/m the source of devastation
Flicker of the life in post-cremation
I/'/m a comrade who/'/s a traitor
Poor actor as well as bad faker

I/'/m the rust on old utensils
Wine bottle with a broken cork inside
I/'/m the crook in the ruler
A King who bears no court or crown
I/'/m the slave to the ages
Prometheus twice now bound
I/'/m the decay of the body
Impurity that can/'/t be washed free
I/'/m the curse of perfection
A quest that has no start nor end
I/'/m the music no one understands
A tired mouth, cupped with chilling hands

Sorry I could not check out the source of inspiration for this awesome write, but damn! Helluva good job here. Too many great lines to pick apart.

Great poetry always reveals itself. Well done.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
