I guess I had to let you go, But lately the world/'/s been resonating your name, And even after all this time, Your memory will not leave me alone,
But I guess I had to say goodbye, And all those nights I laid awake and cried wondering if you were with him, You never know how I was wishing for one more evening worshipping your olive skin
And I guess it was never meant to be: These little dreams, This scandal of love, This suffocating anger, Reflected by the Mediterranean sun.
