The world does not revolve around me, you say.
That is a truth I know too well.
So this is my last day.
Cheers to my farewell.
The world does not revolve around me, you say.
Tell me then why you care?
I cannot live to see another day.
Please, don't give me that glare.
The world does not revolve around me, you say.
My voice is just one amongst several more.
So why live another day?
You've pierced through my core.
The world does not revolve around me, you say.
The truth is, I never thought that so.
So live life your way.
And just pretend you never met me as I go.

I dont think the world revolves around anyone or thing.
We all live life as we please, yet some call it quits and become memories, please dont become a memory, your poetry is to good for that.
I loved this poem keep up the writing. |
