Forest Cathedral

Wash me with silence, cool and damp; Under the boughs, with the moon for a lamp; Musty earths perfume, pine needled skies; Slicing the clouds the grey eagles cry.
Cloaked in blue shadows of giant old trees; The trails of our ancestors beckon to me. Dappled by sunlights blonde lacy pools; Welcoming equally, wise men and fools.
Natures cathedral, let no man leave scars; On the trails of the gods, under diamond black stars.

Great imagery, bound together with perfect flow.
Nature has far more beauty than man can ever create.
Thanks for sharing

This is great. This is a canvas full of paints and images. From start to finish each line tells a story on its own. Great job

Wonderful poem
Brisk and sweet if I may say so.
Just what I needed this AM.
