Reality,
you three piece suited mannequin,
hard and hollow;
no music, words, color
in or out.
Where are my fields now?
How did my magic woods
become pool decks?
Why, how, can I step on them without a tear?
This epidural boat;
rudderless, I ape,
steering with frozen face and soul agape.
I never sought you,
you never sought me,
yet the three of us
roam in this fleshly shell,
me, me and thee;
sound, unsound,
this well begging the reality of
pennies to water/'/s clash.
