Deep within my mind
I painted a portrait of you
A long faded memory
From when we once knew
I retouch it often
To sharpen the clarity
Of the love
I have for you
I repainted the gray skies
To a happier shade of blue
Colored in a rainbow
Just for you
Your smile still remains
Frozen in time
I still wait for the day
If ever
When you/'/ll be
Forever mine
