What more can I do to satisfy you? What more can I say before you turn away?
One, two wedding bands still you don/'/t believe I/'/m down Tattoo underneath but still you don/'/t think I/'/m down Keeping my head up while I/'/m bleeding from the heart Cold struggle to hold love as the bond breaks apart
We/'/re breaking down in silence We/'/re breaking out in violence
Destruction escalates, precious trust is ruined Normalcy immolates, massive soul contusions Carrying my cross while I/'/m praying not all/'/s lost I/'/m searching in your eyes for warmth within the frost
This doubt is killing me This doubt is wrecking me This doubt is maddening I can/'/t stand this This doubt is killing me This doubt is wrecking me This doubt is maddening Still I know that
I made a vow to you I made a vow to me I made a vow to God It/'/s not broken
If I look at this close with my two eyes Microscopic... there/'/s no hope If I look at it all with my third eye I know... nothing can stop Him
We/'/re breaking down... We/'/re breaking out... We/'/re breaking down in silence We/'/re breaking out in violence
This doubt is killing me This doubt is wrecking me This doubt is maddening I can/'/t stand this This doubt is killing me This doubt is wrecking me This doubt is maddening Still I know that
I made a vow to you I made a vow to me I made a vow to God It/'/s not broken
With Him We/'/re unbreakable

You take us along with you to look for a sign of hope; but there is none to be found. Many will relate to the frustration of losing, and the denial that tries to justify the struggle to keep what no longer exists.
This is well described on many levels and the repeating theme echoes long after the read is over.
Telling a story of diminishing hope, and the toll it takes.
