I once was human. Loving, humane. Became insidious, a monster, /Insane, for a lack of a worse name With intentions of becoming tame
Long periods of short falls and fuses Intervals where smiles bear excuses Of brighter days, finding better ways, Horrible misuse of truth abuse- Sanity. My curse. What could be worse?

We cannot escape who we are. You have covered all the avenues of escape from reality; all the signs of normalcy; all hope of pardon, to dwell as you conclude in cursed sanity.
There is only one place where fantasy dwells supreme--in those too mentally handicapped to understand reality. They are truly angels unaware, and the world is their Eden.

Adulting is an over rated condition. "Sanity. My curse. What could be worse?" My favorite line. Sometimes I just want to run away. These things I mention came to mind as I read this, as well as many other thoughts. Maybe insanity is the best world to live in, as long as it/'/s a happy insanity.
Always a joy to read hauntedscorp.

Insanity poured on a page. You captured the mood in a dark and haunted blanket and then set it on fire. Awesome job here. |

I think your curse would be not being able to write again.
Indeed it would be our curse too if this were really to happen.
Of course it never will, you make this stuff seem so effortless.

Poe tried to speak or spoke
and cannot begin to say
in the same sentence the
way the world is down or up
today might think of far off
or far away
Love is not easy and most
do think that it can be sad
If you were to really take a true
Look
You would see mystery is not
so mysterious
And people like to read this
Poe because he was a fine writer
who struggled seeing all
this
Not that love is sad or has to be
Maybe but real is real
I think
Peace! |

I/'/m on my fourth beer, and am past the point of much of critical thought, but I feel, and I feel that is(5th now)
I forgot. (sadface)
Much like the Joker, super sanity or over sanity.
That/'/s my life.
I feel this is relevant somehow. |
