The telltale heart beats beneath the hollow floor boards, Revealing the sins of the killer, dont you know? Poe!
Of black ravens on busts of plaster, he swore to the core Nevermore! Poe!
All for the love of his lost love Lenore he waited to join her in death with each hour hed seek growing weak, In his heart the beak, EEK!
Speaking at the midnight hour, weak and weary, nearly fallen! Sat the black bird on his talon. Allen!
If horror is what you would know, curl up my dears with a book of Poe! Bathe your thoughts in malcontent! As the pit and pendulum meant Ah the fatal swoosh and swing! Death is lowering, lingering!
Readers are left no escape; Fatal poison, ruby grape! I wish him well as he departs, Leaving nightmares in my heart!
A maligned genius dont you know! Good by to Edgar Allen Poe!

Wonderful poem!
Beautiful history and flow. Very poignant for this time of year. Another masterpiece of creativity.

A dark and delicious mood you have captured here. Strong lines with bold imagery. The man continues to inspire us all. Great job |
