The walls are torn down and I tremble The floors all start to fade Reality blurs and I stumble And the darkness begins to invade
A thin trail is left to follow But all too last it is gone The last of the light fails to linger And the darkness has swallowed the Dawn
Black as ink and so quiet Not a sound can I hear as I walk My eyes can see nothing before me And the darkness itself seems to stalk
Fearless Im not, but I walk now Through this cruel maze of the night Each footstep I take sounds so empty And the darkness hinders my plight
I yearn for the night but its gone now Who knows if it will return My eyes dont see, but I walk on And the darkness remains here to burn

This is a great read. The wording and imagery just fits and there are some awesome lines throughout. A piece full of intrigue and outside the box. Great job
