The Suri with the fringe on top

Theres a girl in my PC;
Like a secretary;
You know, the type you wish you would have;
Taken time to marry?

With one foot stuck in yesteryear;
Im sure that this computers;
Operating system makes her
One confused commuter!

Shes romance laced, and PC-based,
A Cinderella realist!
Her bed is made of spreadsheets,
and shes on the not yet kissed list!

Though YOUTUBE lets us watch romance;
The format is mistaken;
Were bored to death with one swift glance,
Of stuff we should partake in!

Bring on all your malware;
kisses, nibbles, bytes!
Perch upon my laptop;
and let us overwrite!

I dont long to be kindled;
I long to be on fire!
Let my heart be swindled!
Infect me with desire!

Welcome CADS and GIGOS;
Viruses and germs!
Captcha and enrapture me;
Boot me up lets burn!

Override my fault mode;
Ping some real-time nights!
Drag me to the download;
Of virtual delights.

But she just sat there blinking;
This vixen Suri tease.
I know not what shes thinking;
But shes sure damn hard to please.

That was wonderful and comical. I got a man in my computer, want to trade?
Brilliant poem.

I/'/ve read this a few times now and each time it/'/s smile inducing! You don/'/t get to read many humorous poems on here but this is great. Like stand-up comedy I personally feel it/'/s incredibly difficult to be funny and to write comedy. Your words are whimsical and clever. Admiration all around and I/'/m still smiling!

Whimsical indeed! Well done. The word play is fantastic.

Honestly Jaye, I don/'/t know how you continue to do it! This is witty and completely refreshing the way you played around with your words. I love a good laugh, and you delivered it, in fine style, I might add.

Great job! I tip my hat to you.

"I don’t long to be kindled;

Let my heart be swindled!
Infect me with desire!"

This stanza is exquisite; if there was a list, with boxes to be checked as yet another reason words arranged just so would lend itself to license the arrangement as poetry, this stanza above assuredly would leave very, very few lonely boxes.

Oh...almost forgot....I wanted to mention I am impressed.

I have to agree with everyone here, very whimsical and that it difficult to convey comedy through words alone without the tone of the speaker/'/s voice to back them up. Which I have to say you pulled off brilliantly. Thank you for the smile and the laugh it was greatly needed and appreciated.
