Where is My Nothing Room?

Less is more. I keep forgetting.
In the midst of purging my internal clutter, I lose perspective.
A sour smell takes hold ... like rotting. Spoiled trauma that I try to dress up in decadence.
"It isn//'//t so bad." Then stop carrying it around.
Spooling each filament of memory for storage in a decorative box. "Here is where I//'//ll keep you."
Inevitably, you will make your visits unannounced and secretly unwelcome. A gift of charity, through pleasant smiles and the unspoken.
I hope your day is short and you do not return. "Oh please, stay as long as you//'//d like, really it//'//s no trouble."
Alas, it//'//s not always easy to entertain your own bag of parlor tricks.
There is no nothing room.
Let me sleep.

Can so relate! In the past thoughts, lie what we think is the present. Let go, say we all, let go. Very intense, very relatable, nice write, P |
