As the years spin by so does times/'/ change Taking what/'/s formed as it tries to rearrange Internally there/'/s a shield it can/'/t penetrate Outside is where it chooses to obliterate
At the start visions contain all the suspense Marching past the ages with building intense Present struggles to finish what a future reveals Proving nary one path permanently sets and seals
Each moment provides mason for a stony exterior Protecting beauty within a dream filled interior What/'/s present on the outside can never compare To what the inner self has yet to begin to share
Perched here high upon times/'/ narrow ledge The heart beats strong releasing this pledge No matter how you may view this gargoyle/'/s face The person inside is worth life/'/s sweet gentle grace

Never judge a gargoyle by its cover!
Clever, fun, and revealing a truth about the author:
Whats present on the outside can never compare
to what the inner self has yet to begin to share.
I hear with hope a promise of more to come from you of the dream filled interior!
Dreams in sunlight turn to dust,
but write, create, and dream we must!

Humanity, its fickle perception of materialistic view.
Rather then the touch of our spoirituality in embrace.
Our inner glow, and how can we show it? |

wow, some faces show emotion
others do not
inside sometimes no one
can really tell
just by looking at a face passing
by
without asking questions
saying hello, hello, hello in there
even to ones self once in a while.
you know I loved Victor Hugo/'/s,
"the hunchback of notre dame",
and the movie with charles laughton
as Quasimodo -
And then, how Esmeralda
is saved by Quasimodo
amid the magnificent Gargoyle
Peace!
