He stands at the crossroads Looks at all the routes ahead His life stretches out before him Which road will he tread?
He turns and looks behind him At all his years gone by The road has more downs than ups He gives a heavy sigh
He has to reach a choice All life must go on But plagued with insecurity He lingers much too long
The routes ahead are vanishing Fading into dust His chance will all too fast be gone Choose a route he must
He finally takes the left road And the destiny it brings Until the next crossroads His fate to all will sing

Options, choices, and the decisions that shape our path. What could be and what might have been. Like rolling dice. Gamble and watch. I like this. Intriguing and stirring.
