Anxiety, you fickle /*****/ Not today No,I won/'/t flip that switch Anxiety, you hit and run You left me damaged the damage is now done.
You/'/ve overstayed your welcome You/'/ve drained me spiritually dry You/'/ve been the cause of many symptoms and left me in the wake to die You/'/ve led me down a road that was lost in the snow now I/'/m stranded trying to find my way home
Anxiety, you poltergeist an unwelcome burden in my head and in my mind Anxiety, you hurricane You checkered flag set to flame
You/'/ve been a worthy competitor I won/'/t deny you that You had me defenseless Beaten to a pulp with your bat You/'/ve led me down a road that was lost in the snow now I/'/m stranded trying to find my way home
Fight or flight, it/'/s done tonight I will no longer allow myself to worry about the past, that/'/s that, no way to change it now and in regards to future plans I won/'/t let you stress me out It/'/s time I had the upper hand I/'/ll remove my fear and doubt
I/'/ll remove you. I/'/ll erase you.
You/'/ve led me down a road that was lost in the snow now I/'/m stranded trying to find my way home And if home is still where the heart is they/'/ll be glad to find me safe Done with your attacks and panic A smile finally on my face. And they will know that I love them My drunken past trying to dull your pain Will not sway me You will not win. Anxiety.
