She Glides So Heavenly Across The Ice

She glides so heavenly across the ice
Well into the frigid night
Her firm tan body all covered in white
Blonde hair flows from everywhere
As if it/'/s taking flight
They all long to know her
But none will dare
To even garner a lucid stare
A majestic beauty
Sweet fluid motion on ice
She skates by herself with unrelenting delight
Something/'/s not quite right
She awaits for whom
Nobody knows
Their hearts all skip a beat
Wouldn/'/t it be grand
To sweep her off her feet
Me a shy boy of fifteen
Summoning up the courage to meet her
It wouldn/'/t be a lie to admit I/'/m somewhat green
I skate to her looking down upon the ice
As I get close, oh she smells so nice
I look up into her eyes
She smiles and grins
Reaches out her hand
And asks me
Where have I been
We skate deep into the night
And as I said
Something/'/s not quite right

I have read this a few times. You bring up more than once that something is not quite right. It begs the reader to ponder why? I wonder if she is deceased and this is all a dream or figment of imagination. Longing for someone who has passed, perhaps.
Or is she cuckoo for cocoa puffs and maybe not an ideal choice? Hmm.
