Four Four Four

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Sunday, 18th December 2016 @ 12:41:39 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Many are blinded by what goes on into the night
Unaware of the heavenly light
I was born behind the veil
Only the strong shall prevail
They call out my name
Why must I be in their domain
The clock strikes four, four, four
Something tells me I have been here before
They whisper in my ear
Whatever they want me to hear
Left to decipher
Why are they here
Four, four, four
Please God, don`t let them tell me no more

I think this write was born behind a veil, as well!

Four appears to be a significant number for many things...Four seasons, four directions, the whole fourth day of creation, thing...Could also easily tie in with your clock/time keeping reference.

Well, you/'/ve sparked a thousand thoughts for this reader. Wonderful.

I am all over the place with this! Whose domain do you enter yet again? What do they whisper? Why are they here? What are they telling you that you don/'/t want to hear? And why is four only repeated three times?
James, I am dizzy with questions! It can go so many directions it has left me giddy. I think I shall sit and contemplate what goes on in the night!
You have led us on a merry chase!

I love how mysterious this is. It puts your brain into drive and begins looking for answers. Thought provoking. Great job James

Lol try n turn a blind eye to your 444 , that is if you write of seeing repeating numbers from experience and r genuinely freaked out or just puzzled even ,,, because I saw 111 everywhere n became so obsessed in researching about the experience after eventually realising that it seemed to happen way to often n synchronic tidally that I ended up googling it ( big mistake or necessary evil I/'/m still not sure ) but I get how it seems crazy n the event can send people crazy and so likewise the subject of repeating numbers n supposedly spiritual meaningful events may be perfect subject matter for comedic sarcastic effect , loved it sadly I am that fool n I suspect ur too clever to fool lol

I always do what the voices in my head tell me to do. // NOT!!! // But I should listen.

Very very interesting write. I used to have dreams about the future. They don/'/t seem to happen anymore. I asked "them" once to please quit being vague and be more specific. I got my wish when I married my last wife. It was an out of body experience and a voice said to me, "Sherry* will leave you." Less than six years later she did. I couldn/'/t bring myself to run away. She looked so happy and pretty, I just thought to myself that I need to see this through. Probably should have skeedaddled.

Great poem, James.
