If I bleed where you slay me, will you be sated?
Or lustful for more lives to condemn to dust
You claim just cause, not just, but justified
In your blinded eyes where ghosts walk friends and enemies
This sacred war with unlikely heroes and unholy stains
Where the mad martyr the weak minded and misguided find a cause
Sacrifice a persuasive whisper, death with honour
Yet its very act violates the purest gift of life
I am you with a different face, my perspective of the world discoloured to your opinion
Harmony would be a synthesis of thought but our minds are out of phase
So you spill blood to wash away the blemishes and spit fire to cauterize the wound
But the smear will not diminish, we cannot be erased
You are mockingbird to a religion that you coat with dark acidic lies
Seeds of hope die in the twisted mass of weed you dare to call truth
Through the raging storm and black skies of slaughter you strut like honoured King
Behold the lowly prisoner, brainwashed to the end
