| A deafening roar we would rather ignore at this holiday time. For every moment of peace, someone somewhere has paid the price. Your jagged unbridled reminder brings us to raise our collars and be thankful for what we have, no matter how little it may be. Let us walk softly as the battles rage around us in this shrinking world. Be safe from harm and let us spend our time living instead of spending it dying. Our time will come soon enough and few will wish with their final words that they had spent more time in earnest mourning. |
