The day of Christ is here, soon will follow a new year, Plans to do better, as winter/'/s chill leaves many bitter, Those without a roof, or food to enjoy, or the soldiers that are deployed, Remember those that have past, pray for the family they had,
The sleepless nights and endless day, the work put in to find a better way, Take a step back, reap what is sowed, give peace a chance and rid hatred from your soul, Acceptance is a start, be colorblind and follow your heart, Our time is borrowed, we are not promised tomorrow,
Upon the cross he did bleed, as Mary wept on her knees, The clouds moved to block the sun, words from heaven, I give you...my son, Upon his death we were freed of sin, open up your heart and let him in, From Christmas to Easter, and Easter to Christmas we should celebrate our existence,
Be humble, be kind, see not race...but humankind, The grudges we keep are the grudges that kill, stop the hate, help to heal, Love thy family, love thy neighbor, praise him...our Savior, Fore upon this day he was born, forgiveness and acceptance heals the soul that is torn.
