New year New thing.

Dont just hear me ,
see me.
Dont just feel me,
know me.
Dont just trust me,
love me.
Dont just try me ,
want me too.
Love is a two way street.
Life is a circle we all will repeat.
If changes dont occure
please excuse my open door.

Your work speaks of truth. Reciprocity is key and without it the road is typically rocky. There needs to be that mutual meeting point. Well done Richard.

Love is timeless...it is we who outgrow it!
Better to move on than to atrophy on the vine trying to salvage what no longer exists.
We don/'/t keep what we don/'/t value; and we don/'/t value what comes too easily. As your clever write underscores, the more we pay for a thing, the more careful we are with it.
Love is an investment--those who see your worth will not hesitate; those who hesitate will never see your worth.

I agree with you. Love ultimately spells sacrifice, but not in a negative sense; the very fact that the sacrifice, from big to small ones, is sought, not minded and often welcomed, is why it is so special.

Your poem illustrates the levels of love, and I like it quite a bit.

Mike

this is grand. When payback, is sweet -
the payback is when you truly think
about all you were given, when you
love the person or people that stood by
your side, the children all around that
make you feel proud, and the all the
others that need you, if you choose to see
them as real human beings with all kinds
of possibilities not unlike yourself or possibly you might hope even better.
Payback is sweet, when you take a good look at yourself and take any of the sacrifice you made
and say it is not enough, without saying it aloud.
Payback is sweet, when your own actions, that affect people in a positive way , well after you yourself are gone make you feel good inside, which is the one place from where you can never hide, and it requires
zero mention from you to anyone because you did your best, and always listened even when it wasn/'/t easy.
And it was worth it every bit.

Peace!

Dear Richard

Well done!!!!!

I/'/m a great supporter of Love. It/'/s one of the most precious gift from God to us and one another. I agree with Soft and Inverno (Mike) if you ain/'/t getting what you give move on. However move on with peace and dignity my friend, even if there is no Love life is to short for war.

God bless

Greetings
Rus
