Second hand

It is not the point
how many have dipped
into your well
of desperate dreams
it doesnt matter
how many have laid
close to your skin
the point is
would you
let one climb
under it
to feel
what one believes
within your fractured
fragmented
feelings
you shine
with all the things
that we need

Drone: What a lovely invitation to be brave and reveal ourselves to a stranger. You are correct - it is risky business to trust another with our innermost selves; but as you conclude so brightly: the disarray of our deepest beliefs is where resides the most genuine gifts.
Well phrased; gently paced (to give us time to think each thought through). This is not a quick snack or a sugary dessert you serve up, but a five course meal to be enjoyed slowly, with respect for our host, who sets a colorful table and invites us to partake of exquisite fare.

interesting question. Liberating to be sure, but I/'/ve been burnt too many times to think its a good thing to let someone that far into your psyche. Good luck to those who do and can...

Letting people in is a risk
if you can do that
bless you
many can not and will not.....
