YPDC GALLERY

Contributed by spike on Saturday, 14th January 2017 @ 03:20:40 AM in AEST
Topic: poets

Take a tour of YPDC,
the Webs newest gallery

Such many wonders, where to start,
are you a desciple of R. Reinhardt?
his display of Phantom Mist
is foxy man, I cant resist!

Deusdeira! Not your style?
softer ware might make you smile.
above there, on the rise,
gambling mutts with puppy dog eyes.

K. Mec (1990) artfully shows
Invierno in its throes.
an unknown utopia, that
firestarters (sigh) made dystopia.

the sculptures lining Shelby Hall
of infinite poets will enthrall,
but Richard Campbell bought them all!
(a former member, if I recall).

The artist Thomas, in u01,
was obviously having fun,
painting Archie from comic fame
in naked glory, ginger-maned.

of skin, clearly youve had your fill,
so view the Masters if you will

VR 2776: Ladyfawn,
by elusive artist Rackerman.
favourite of the Loende School,
known for roses, very cool.
or Timotheous with Hauntedscorp,
so poor he had to paint in taupe!
he mickey-d before it cured,
on purple starys, so I heard.

Heathen-esque? Bloody elle!
James Stockdale is known to sell.
his pop art takes on muppets, man
put Warhol back in his can.

Dynastic art more your thing?
heres a room full of ming!
the light captures every hue
my favourite is the iris blue.

or the graffiti room, modern art
Suicidal Son a worthy start
by Waynster, who might look weedy
but with the spray can, very speedy.
he daubed the bust of Deidra C,
some think unnecessarily,
in mniw chrome
ever wonder why he lives alone?

so, have you settled on anything?
the Randy Johnson? ka-ching!
Gambling canines, small and large,
tell me, is that cash or charge?

On your way out, youll adore
performance art, 2nd floor,
deadhead poets that take to heart,
there is no life without art

Please, come again!

I/'/m glad I/'/m on a good list!! First of all, thank you, Spike.

This is great, the way you pieced together the names and rhyme scheme without breaking the flow!!!

Perfect timing, my friend.

Thanks for the great read.

Tim

Oh my! A family of poets come to sit at your table!
We all have been bitten by the muse.
This is cleverly woven Spike; not easy to choreograph. A labor born of years of association with a sea of artisans we shall never meet from everywhere!
You have tied us up on a bow, and I am honored to be mentioned in such fine company!
Hats off to you our host with a fond wish for another year of splendid fare!
